Terms of Service

These terms govern your dealership's use of Lot 1, operated by Nexus Development, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.
The account
An account belongs to a dealership, not to a person. Anyone you add can sign in as themselves, and every action they take is recorded against their name. You are responsible for who you give access to and for removing them when they leave.
Plans and payment
Plans are billed monthly, in advance, ex-VAT, and are banded on how many cars you hold — the vehicles in your account that are live, reserved or taken in. Sold and deleted vehicles do not count toward the band.
- We measure a rolling 30-day average, not a peak, and allow one month's grace over a band before an upgrade takes effect. A busy plate change will not move you up a plan for a fortnight of stock.
- The Free plan is a plan, not a trial. It does not expire.
- There is no setup fee on any paid plan.
Cancelling
Month to month, cancelled from inside the dashboard. There is no notice period and no minimum term. Your access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
Founding Dealer rate
Where a founding rate has been agreed in writing, it is held for the agreed term. Moving between tiers keeps the founding benefit at the new tier. The exact term is set out in your own agreement.
Your data
Your vehicle records, customers and sales are yours. You can export them at any time in a format a spreadsheet will open, and we will not withhold them or charge you to leave. What we do with data on your behalf is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lot 1 to store data you have no right to hold, to send unsolicited marketing, or to attempt to reach another dealership's data. We may suspend an account that does.
Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available and to fix faults promptly, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Support is by phone and email, from the people who build the product.
Liability
Lot 1 is a record-keeping tool. It does not replace your own commercial, legal or tax judgment, and it is not a substitute for your own records where the law requires you to keep them. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may change these terms. Where a change materially affects you we will give reasonable notice by email before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
